Seeking Litigation Paralegals!

Calling all Litigation Paralegals from entry-level to experienced! R & W Group is seeking strong paralegal candidates for our talent pool in anticipation of upcoming Litigation Paralegal openings with our small, mid-sized, and large law firm clients in the DC area and nationwide. If you enjoy the fast-paced, high-pressure excitement of working as part of a robust litigation team, send us your resume! Most positions will be on-site, with some available for hybrid schedules.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Formatting, proofreading, and cite checking legal documents (e.g., pleadings, motions, briefs, appendices, etc.)
Preparing and filing court documents through the federal courts’ CM-ECF system
Managing case documents and organizing case files
Conducting legal research and summarizing findings
Assisting attorneys in preparation for hearings, trials, and oral arguments
Managing discovery, including reviewing, and organizing documents for production
Organizing exhibits and supplemental pleadings
Tracking deadlines for administrative reviews
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Paralegal Certificate preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in litigation support, preferably in a law firm (1-2 years for junior-level roles)
Substantive knowledge and understanding of legal terminology, principles, and court procedures
Experience using federal courts’ CM-ECF system
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and litigation/document management software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to professionally interact with staff, attorneys, clients, courts, and others
Solutions-oriented outlook, displaying good judgment, and meeting any challenge with maturity and a 'can do' attitude while anticipating issues that may arise
Ability to work flexibly and/or fluctuating work hours. Overtime may be required.
Our law firm clients offer solid benefits and salary. Salary will depend on experience, location, and firm, but can range from $50K for junior level roles, up to $100K for more senior roles, overtime eligible.
