Administrative Assistant (Temp to Perm)!

R & W Group has an excellent opportunity for a temp to perm Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic small commercial real estate law firm with a busy re-development project group.

The firm is high profile and well-respected. One of the partners appears on TV, gives speeches (including a “Ted Talk”), and has written a book and magazine articles. You would be assisting to schedule these appearances.

You would start working 32/hours per week, but your hours are expected to increase to 40/week. You must be located in the DMV area. This position will start remote but will eventually move onsite.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage busy calendars

  • Schedule and set up meetings and calls (via Zoom and other platforms)

  • Perform intake for new clients

  • Set up, organize, and update files on Procore Construction Management Software

  • Call local government offices to obtain information for real estate projects

  • Edit and modify Contracts, e.g., land development agreements, partnership agreements – attention to detail critical

  • Occasional legal research on Westlaw, LexisNexis

  • Perform billing and invoicing

Education, Skills, Abilities:

  • College degree strongly preferred

  • Desire to work in administrative field

  • Interested in real estate law and real estate development

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Prior administrative work experience (law firm preferred)
