R&W Group is seeking an organized and personable candidate to fill a Recruiter position at a reputable economic consulting firm in DC! If you are a recruiting assistant or coordinator in a professional services environment looking for a next step, this could be the perfect opportunity.
The Recruiter will identify and implement effective recruiting methods and strategies to build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline for all open positions at the firm.
This will include the following responsibilities:
Develop recruitment strategies to meet the talent needs and unique requirements of each open position.
Identify and actively search sources of viable candidates including LinkedIn and Indeed to build a candidate pipeline/network.
Develop effective marketing strategies that attract high quality talent.
Coordinate and manage job postings/advertisements, recruiting processes, and budget across multiple external platforms.
Maintain and update all external job postings, as well as internal requisitions, in applicant tracking system.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand needs and ideal candidate profiles to optimize search efforts.
Conduct initial screens and interviews with potential candidates.
Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, employees, LinkedIn groups, and other social media.
Attend job fairs and other recruiting events as needed.
Partner with Marketing Department to develop and implement recruiting social media strategy.
Administer and document good faith efforts associated with Affirmative Action Plan.
Support undergraduate and PhD recruiting efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role; sourcing experience required.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience working in a professional services environment a plus.
Experience with an applicant tracking system required; experience with viRecruit a plus.
Experience using social media for recruitment purposes a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills; ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the firm.
Good work ethic and ability to recognize and protect highly confidential information from disclosure.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently.
Team player who is receptive to others’ input and ideas.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
May require more than 40.0 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
