CONTRACT ATTORNEY!

Do you love being in court? Are you a litigator with experience in real estate (multi-family and mixed use)? Would you like to work with one of the top regional firms in the Washington, DC area? If so, R & W Group has a great new temporary remote/hybrid position. You must be located in the DC area. Our client is looking for an experienced contract attorney to help their real estate litigation team with the current heavy workload in representing our multifamily housing and mixed-use real estate property owners and managers on litigation and risk management issues.

The key aspects of the position will be to represent clients in court, stay organized on a large volume of cases and work well within a team structure. The position will be primarily focused on Washington, DC real estate and property management clients and cases. There may also be some cases for real estate and property management clients in Virginia as well.

o Washington, DC bar admission is required.

o Virginia bar admission would be very helpful.

You should have in-court experience (although the firm would be willing to train the right candidate).

The firm expects the Contract Attorney will have a minimum of 3-4 court appearances per week.

o Many Washington, DC hearings are done by WebEx, so a remote work arrangement would be available.

o Virginia – If you are barred in Virginia, this would require in-person attendance in Fairfax, Arlington and Alexandria courts.

o Maryland – if you are barred in MD, it would be helpful to have some in-office time in Baltimore, at least one day per week, for training and organization purposes.
