R&W Group has a fantastic opportunity for passionate entry-level to mid-level software development candidates! One of our favorite financial clients is looking to hire a Systems Developer.
In this role, you would assist in creating and maintaining software on multiple platforms configured with Ellie Mae’s Encompass® 360 Banker Edition software. This position is dedicated to the overall administration, development, and configuration functions for all features of Encompass® 360, internal logistics and data sourced from Encompass, across the complete enterprise from origination through servicing including:
Automating and developing Encompass® 360 via SDK and the next gen RESTful API
Developing high quality code within company standards, development guidelines and best practices
Completing project responsibilities including design, coding, testing and documentation for multiple and varied test and production environments
Completing all assigned projects with astute understanding of cross department data integrity
Working closely with a variety of departments to enhance Encompass, multiple pricing engines, GSE integrations, accounting environments, SQL reporting, SharePoint integrations, QC, Post Closing, Servicing and Compliance needs
Creating and maintaining knowledge base articles to assist multiple departments
Documenting change management for all projects
Maintaining enhancements and related documentation for workflow and data entry progression and regulatory compliance varying across multiple user acceptance environments and production environments
Other Duties:

Participating in proactive team efforts within the Systems Development team to achieve departmental and company goals

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in computer science disciplines, additional certifications a plus; Will consider work experience in lieu of degrees and certifications
3+ years related experience coding in .Net language C#, VB Script, and JavaScript.
1 year of Encompass 360
2+ years of mortgage experience
Understanding of database design and SQL
Experience in 3rd party integration with XML, XSL, JSON, ETL tools (e.g., SSIS) and other languages to and from Encompass
Strong understanding of design principles and modular programming techniques
Strong sense of logical operations as pertaining to business logic
Previous experience working with automation testing tools and infrastructure
Strong communication skills
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Encompass Developer certifications and Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Encompass® SDK and RESTful API; PowerShell; Office 365; Microsoft SQL Server. Certifications in these areas are preferred.
