Microsoft Full-Stack Developer!

R&W Group has a client in the mortgage finance industry that is seeking an experienced Microsoft Full Stack Developer to work within the Solutions Development group, part of their Information Systems department. This group collaborates with internal clients to plan, configure, and develop effective and secure information systems to increase productivity, and achieve business objectives. This position will be responsible for the design, delivery and support of a wide variety of Microsoft-based solutions within an Azure environment. This position will initially report directly to the CIO and will be located at our headquarters in Northern Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

Leverage the full Microsoft stack to solve business problems and augment functionality of external, cloud-based business applications.
Design, build, test, and maintain applications and solutions that are optimized for the productivity and collaboration needs using the Office 365 platform.
Elicit and analyze business requirements from technical and non-technical teams and deliver fully functional solutions.
Maintain and extend the SQL-based data warehouse automation (on prem SQL hosted in Azure server automated using PowerShell).
Analyze feasibility and perform testing of new Azure and Office 365 capabilities as they become available.
Work with the Information Security Officer to ensure security standards are included, applied and maintained across all product sets within the domain.
Support other IS technical teams with data collection, administration and management applications and automation solutions (infrequent).
Assist in the development of documentation and training materials for developed solutions.

Basic Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent technical field required.
4 years of experience developing software using the full Microsoft stack (.NET, SQL, C#, etc).
2 years of experience developing applications in Azure (ASP.NET, Microservices, Functions, Web Jobs, etc).
Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing and publishing ASP.NET core web apps in Azure.
Experience developing advanced PowerShell scripts that access, create and update SQL databases and common Microsoft objects (SharePoint, Teams, Active Directory, etc).
Experience working with REST APIs to extract and manipulate data in 3rd party hosted database applications.
Experience working within a source code control system.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Experience with Azure DevOps and Application Insights.
Experience implementing source code control systems.
Current related Microsoft certifications (Azure Fundamentals, Azure Developer Associate).
Experience in the financial services sector.
